Stylish and Adventurous Micro Wedding in the German Alps

Last Updated: April 6, 2024 | Published On: September 9, 2023

Amanda + Tré celebrated getting married surrounded by close family in Germany’s stunning mountain town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Due to the pandemic, along with Tré being in the Air Force, the two had already been legally married for some time. When they reached out to us, they were ready to create a day that would be an experience, after waiting so long for life to calm down. The pair wanted to incorporate their love of exploring, family time, and great views with their dogs into one memorable day. They kept their day simple and relaxed while staying true to the things that mattered most to them (in our opinion, the perfect way to do it!).

Their morning kicked off with getting ready at Boutiquehotel Werdenfelserie. Afterward, the ceremony was held atop their hotel (what a view!!), with Tré’s brother leading. Post-ceremony, everyone toasted champagne and took group photos. Afterward, the pair took a cable car up one of the local mountains. Tré’s brother also joined, so he could help wrangle 3 excited dogs. We took a short hike, basked in the panorama, grabbed some epic mountain-top portraits, and popped champagne. In the evening, Amanda + Tré shared a cozy dinner + cake with their family.

What we loved about Amanda + Tré’s approach was that they built their day truly around what would make them happy. Each detail and activity was thoughtfully arranged. It wasn’t about trying to fit as much as possible into a short amount of time, but savoring each part of the day whilst soaking up the experience.

Real Germany Elopement Experience: A review from our couple

”We had an absolutely incredible experience with Christine & Scott! They are an amazing team to work with, and helped make our wedding day flow perfectly! Christine also helped recommend so many local vendors for us to use for our wedding in Germany, which saved us lots of time in the planning process. I cannot recommend them more! They are so organized, knowledgeable and so quick to respond to any questions! We have already received some photos back from our wedding this past weekend, l and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the photos!”

Vendors:

We’d love to give a shout-out to all the vendors involved who helped make this day happen!

It’s also worth noting, Tré’s family built the wedding arch, and Tré’s step-mom handled decorating (can we just appreciate what a gorgeous job she did!?).
