HEY, I'M EVÓRA!

I’m a trend setter, an adventurer, a coffee lover and a photographer! I love experiments and personal projects. Finding new perspectives and breathing in new life into old boring scenes is what inspires and gets me excited! ABOUT US

We're obsessed with mountains, glaciers, and alpine lakes (oh, and also great food).

Hey! We're Scott and Christine Madeux

(our friends call us the Madudes)

We're the faces behind "Made in the Mountains Photo". There's A LOT we could tell you, but we'll just stick with a few things to share!

We met in 2017 while working in Alaska. Despite living in the same apartment complex in Idaho, we didn't cross paths until we lived in the same employee housing all the way up in the Last Frontier. Our love for a good time in the mountains is what initially brought us together, and the rest is history!

Since getting married, we've been able to road trip to Alaska and the Arctic Circle; make trips to Glacier, Grand Teton, Arches, and Zion National Parks; camp at the Oregon Coast, bivy on mountain tops, live in three-states (Alaska, Idaho, and Wyoming), and now Germany. We've explored the Italian Dolomites, the Swiss Alps, and Austria's majestic peaks. We love a good mountain adventure!

Besides mountains, we love cooking (if you've got allergies, let's exchange recipes-we pride ourselves in making the best gluten and dairy-free chocolate chip cookies out there), winding down by watching the X-Files, or going on scenic drives. Marriage has been one grand adventure-and we wouldn't have it any other way.
